What Is Liquid Oxygen

Liquid oxygen (commonly abbreviated LOX or LO2) is a liquid when the state of oxygen is liquid. It has important applications in aerospace, submarines and gas industries. Liquid oxygen is a light blue liquid with strong paramagnetic properties.

Its main physical properties are as follows: the atmospheric pressure (101.325 kPa) is under the density of 1.141 t/m3 (1141kg/m3), solidification point 50.5 K ( -222.65°c), and boiling 90.188 K ( -182.96°c).
