It is understood that in July 2017, the two sides signed the "joint-venture cooperation letter of intent," according to the plan, the project will design and build a hydroprocessing station, gas station designed as a secondary station, hydrogen refueling station designed as a tertiary station. The reserves of refined oil products are 150 cubic meters (three 30-cubic-meter gasoline tanks and two 30-cubic-meter diesel tanks), and the hydrogen storage capacity is 1,000 kg (divided into two groups, each of which is 500 kg in the previous implementation and reserve of hydrogen storage bottles) . The total investment of the project is about 33 million yuan, and it is estimated that the operation time will be June 2018.
Sinopec oil - hydrogen mixed construction project, refers to the hydrogen refueling station relying on the existing stations and built. This is considered to be a better construction method at present because many existing refueling (gas) stations have the basic conditions for co-building a hydrogen refueling station: adequate land and the distance from the surrounding facilities meet the technical specifications of the hydrogen refueling station (GB 50516-2010) requirements. This can not only effectively save land costs, but also rely on the existing gas station sales network, bringing more stable customers.
Data show that as of August 2017, there are 286 hydrogen refueling stations operating globally. Among them, Japan, the United States and Germany are the three countries with the largest number of hydrogen refueling stations, with 91, 60 and 31 respectively. Currently there are only 7 hydrogen refueling stations operating in China, which are located in Beijing, Shanghai, Zhengzhou, Dalian, Changzhou, Foshan and Yunfu respectively. More than 40 hydrogen refueling stations are still under planning. The seven hydrogen refueling stations already in operation mainly provide refueling services for R & D vehicles and a total of demonstration vehicles, and have not yet achieved full commercial operation. In September this year, Nanhai District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province put into operation China's first fully operational hydrogen refueling station.
The main reason for the scarcity of domestic hydrogenation stations is that the key components required for the construction of hydrogen refueling stations are not produced in large quantities. Mostly rely on imports, together with construction land and administrative examination and approval, to make the construction cost higher. There are three main sources of hydrogen resources, namely fossil fuel hydrogen production, industrial by-product hydrogen production and renewable energy hydrogen production. Among them, in the industrial by-product gas production hydrogen, the potential of by-product hydrogen in petrochemical, methanol and other industries nearly 4 trillion cubic meters, and the refinery itself has hydrogen plant. In the sales terminal, "two barrels of oil" has a large number of gas (gas) station. At present, PetroChina operates more than 20,000 gas stations in China and more than 30,000 gas stations in Sinopec.
